Disruptor Manufacturing was created with one mission: to build commercial spray equipment that performs in the real world, looks professional on the jobsite, and stands up to the demands of contractors who use their equipment every day.
Founded by AC Lockyer, Disruptor Manufacturing was born from decades of hands-on experience in agriculture, soft washing, exterior cleaning, and commercial spray systems. AC began his career working with agricultural equipment in the 1980s, later applying that knowledge to the exterior cleaning industry and the development of soft washing systems. As his businesses grew, so did the need for stronger, smarter, and more reliable equipment built specifically for the way professional contractors work.
That need became the foundation for Disruptor Manufacturing.
Our Beginning
Before Disruptor Manufacturing, AC Lockyer built his reputation as one of the pioneers of the soft washing industry. His early work in exterior cleaning and equipment development helped shape a new category of cleaning that moved beyond traditional pressure washing. Through years of field experience, he saw the limitations of standard spray equipment and recognized an opportunity to build systems that were more durable, efficient, serviceable, and professional.
In 2017, Disruptor Manufacturing was launched to bring equipment design, fabrication, and innovation in-house. What began as a need to manufacture better soft washing equipment has grown into a company serving multiple industries, including exterior cleaning, pest control, sanitation, auto detailing, window cleaning, and other commercial spray applications.

AC Lockyer is the owner and visionary behind Disruptor Manufacturing. With a background rooted in agricultural sprayers, soft washing, and service-business operations, AC brings a unique perspective to equipment manufacturing. He is not simply designing products from behind a desk; he understands what contractors need because his experience comes from the field.
His approach is clear: equipment should not only work, it should perform beautifully. It should be strong, serviceable, sustainable, and built with purpose. Under AC’s leadership, Disruptor Manufacturing continues to challenge outdated equipment designs and bring new ideas to industries that are ready for innovation. AC is listed as Owner/Director of Operations for Disruptor Manufacturing, and company materials also identify him as Chief Vision Officer.

The Field Experience Begins
With the launch of SoftWash Systems, AC Lockyer helped train and equip a growing network of soft washing professionals. As the industry expanded, so did the need for better spraying equipment, better hose management, better system layouts, and more dependable components. Those needs helped shape the thinking behind Disruptor Manufacturing.
2023
Disruptor Manufacturing Takes Shape.
The Stingray product line introduced a new level of performance and design to professional hose reel systems. With products like MANTA, MAKO, U-Frame, Skate Reels, and Stingray Swivels, Disruptor Manufacturing focused on durability, efficient layouts, corrosion-resistant materials, and field-ready serviceability.

Makers Lab Expands Fabrication
Disruptor Manufacturing continues to push the spraying equipment industry forward. Every product is designed with purpose, built for real-world use, and created to improve how professionals work in the field. The company’s mission is not just to manufacture equipment — it is to disrupt outdated standards and build what the industry should become.

The Stingray Line Raises the Standard
Through the Makers Lab, Disruptor Manufacturing expanded its ability to prototype, fabricate, and produce equipment on demand. From one-off concepts to larger skid system orders, the company developed a more flexible approach to manufacturing. This allowed Disruptor to support both standard product lines and custom-built solutions.
